Ediacaran Period

This period of time lasted from 630-542 million years ago.
During this time, the super continent Rodinia had split into three parts- West Gondwana, East Gondwana, and Lauraisa. East and West Gondwana formed together making the Pan Africian Orogeny.

During the Period, the flora that grew were lichins, algae, protists, and fungi. At these times, the fauna were soft-bellied shelled organisms
At the beginning there was a cold ice age with O2 in the air. It ended abruptly, now having CO2.
The Oceans were cold and full of ice. The upper layer had 13C inside.
